Open Computing Institute is located in Chembur and has state of the art facilities. Our classrooms have a traditional layout and also a round-table style layout. The traditional layout is with the instructor in front, students on individual desks with laptops facing the instructor. The lecture is delivered with help from audiovisual equipment such as a projector and also old-fashioned whiteboards. The round-table style layout has an oval conference room at the center with students and the instructor seated around the table. The room has a projector to deliver audiovisual content and whiteboards.
There is a large workshop area where students can sit and work on projects or lab assignments. The facility has about 60 plug points and ethernet connections so students and faculty can easily connect to the internet.
The Institute also provides students with a Wi-Fi capability so they can connect wirelessly to the network. It is recommended that students bring their own laptops to class. If you are unable to do so, you can check out a laptop from the receptionist at the Institute and then return it before you leave.
